Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah promise after hardship?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why doesn't Allah ask us to give more than we have?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Talaq is surah 65. Find ayah 7. The key words la yukallifullahu nafsan illa ma ataha mean Allah does not burden a soul beyond what He has given it. People with more give more; people with less give what they can. And the ayah ends with hope: after hardship, ease.

Ages 5–8: Three jars. Make three jars labelled save, spend and give.

Ages 9–12: Mini budget. Plan how you'd share pocket money between saving, spending and giving.
