Start with bismillah.

Draw a simple maze. Ask: "What tricks help you find the way out?"

Watch the TED-Ed video Can you solve the magical maze riddle? (It has music.)

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah promise the mindful?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does being mindful of Allah open a way out?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Talaq is surah 65. Find ayah 2. The key words yaj'al lahu makhraja mean He will make a way out for him. The ayah asks for fairness and two honest witnesses. Then comes a promise for everyone: when we are mindful of Allah, He opens a way through problems that look like a maze.

Fact: What is a trick people use to get out of a maze?

Ages 5–8: Maze maker. Draw a maze for someone in your family to solve.

Ages 9–12: Fair witness. Write what makes someone a good and fair witness.

Finish with: "I found that one maze trick is ___."

Talk together:

• When have you felt stuck, and how did it get better?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What does being mindful of Allah look like?
• Why is being a fair, honest witness important?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, when I feel stuck, I will make du'a first."

• Make du'a when you feel stuck.
• Share your maze.
• Share what makes a fair witness.
• Next time: the next ayah (65:3) says Allah provides from where we never expected. Explore it together!

Action: This week, when you feel stuck, make du'a first.
