يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ ۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ ۖ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنۢ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَٰحِشَةٍۢ مُّبَيِّنَةٍۢ ۚ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ لَا تَدْرِى لَعَلَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرًۭا
How to read it
yā'ayyuhā nnabiyyu 'idhā ṭallaq'tumu nnissā'a faṭalliqūhunna liʻiddatihinna wa'aḥ'ṣū l-ʻiddata . wa-ttaqū -llaha rabbakum' . lā tukh'rijūhunna min[m] buyūtihinna walā yakh'ruj'na 'illā 'an ya''tīna bifāḥishatin mmubayyinatin . watil'ka ḥudūdu -llahi . waman yataʻadda ḥudūda -llahi faqad' ẓalama naf'sahu . lā tad'rī laʻalla -llaha yuḥ'dithu baʻ'da dhālika 'am'ran
O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.
