هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌۭ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌۭ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
Huwa -lladhī khalaqakum' faminkum' kāfirun waminkum mmu''minun . wa-llahu bimā taʻ'malūna baṣīrun
It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do.

Allah created you; some of you disbelieve and some believe, and Allah sees everything you do.
Start with bismillah.
Press your thumb on an ink pad and onto paper. Ask: "Is anyone else's print exactly the same?"
Watch the Little School video Fingerprints.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two kinds of people does the ayah mention?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah let people choose to believe or not?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Taghabun is surah 64. Find ayah 2. The key word khalaqakum means He created you. Allah made every person unique, down to their fingerprints. He also gave us the choice to believe, and He sees every choice we make.
Fact: What are the three main fingerprint patterns?
Ages 5–8: Thumb art. Make thumbprint animals and look at your print's pattern.
Ages 9–12: Family prints. Compare fingerprints in your family. Which patterns do you find?
Finish with: "I found that the three patterns are ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for making me just as I am."
Action: Thank Allah for making you just as you are.
