Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can guidance reach everyone?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saff is surah 61. Find ayah 9. The key words bil-huda wa dinil-haqq mean with guidance and the religion of truth. As the Earth turns, sunlight reaches every land in turn. Allah sent the Prophet with guidance for all people. We share it with kindness, as the Prophet did. The true deen rises by its clear proof and by the good character of those who follow it; it is not about winning over our neighbours, with whom we live kindly and fairly (60:8).

Fact: How long does it take the Earth to spin once?

Ages 5–8: Torch and globe. Shine a torch on a ball while turning it slowly. Watch "day" move around.

Ages 9–12: Kind sharing. Write three kind ways to explain Islam to a friend.

Finish with: "I found that the Earth spins once every ___."

Talk together:
