كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ
How to read it
Kabura maq'tan ʻinda -llahi 'an taqūlū mā lā taf'ʻalūna
Grievously odious is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which ye do not.

4-I guide
It is deeply hateful to Allah that you say what you do not do.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does 'actions speak louder than words' mean?"
Watch the WiseToons video Actions Speak Louder Than Words.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How does Allah feel about empty words?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do actions matter so much to Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saff is surah 61. Find ayah 3. The key words kabura maqtan mean it is greatly hateful. Allah loves people whose actions back up their words. Saying "I'll water the plants" doesn't make them grow; doing it does.
Fact: How much water does a young plant need?
Ages 5–8: Plant promise. Promise to water a plant every day this week, and do it.
Ages 9–12: Action plan. Turn one thing you often say ("I should...") into a real action.
Finish with: "I found that a young plant needs ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will turn one 'I should' into 'I did'."
Action: Turn one 'you should' into 'you did'.
