Ask: "Should we always do what we feel like?"

A short clip on Ayesha Tariq recites ayat 51–60 of Al-An'am. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What would make him go astray?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can desires lead us wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 56. Desires are not always bad, but following them blindly can lead us off the path. Allah's guidance helps us choose well.

Fact: In Sad 38:26, Dawud is told not to follow desire.

Ages 5–8: Want or need. Sort pictures into wants and needs.

Ages 9–12: Desire check. Write a time you chose right over what you wanted.

Finish with: "Following desires blindly leads ___."

Talk together:

• What did the Prophet refuse?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why can desires mislead?
• How do you choose well?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will pause before doing something just because I want to."
