وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَعِبٌۭ وَلَهْوٌۭ ۖ وَلَلدَّارُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Wa mā l-ḥayātu ddun'yā 'illā laʻibun walah'wun . wala ddāru l-'ākhiratu khay'run llilladhīna yattaqūna . 'afalā taʻ'qilūna
What is the life of this world but play and amusement? But best is the home in the hereafter, for those who are righteous. Will ye not then understand?

This worldly life is just play and amusement, while the home of the Hereafter is better for those mindful of Allah, so will you not think?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How long does a game last compared to a home?"
Holy Qur'an-القرآن الكريم has a short Al-An'am clip of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 31–40. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is this life compared to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is the Hereafter better?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 32. Games are fun, but they end. The Akhirah is our lasting home. Believers enjoy this life while keeping their eyes on the lasting one.
Fact: Al-'Ankabut 29:64 calls the Hereafter the true life.
Ages 5–8: Game time. Play a short game and talk about how it ended.
Ages 9–12: Lasting home. Write how to enjoy this life without forgetting the next.
Finish with: "The Hereafter is our lasting ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will add one Akhirah deed to my fun time."
Action: Add one Akhirah deed to your fun time.
