Wa qālū 'in' hiya 'illā ḥayātunā ddun'yā wamā naḥ'nu bimab'ʻūthīna
And they (sometimes) say: "There is nothing except our life on this earth, and never shall we be raised up again."

They claimed that this worldly life is all there is and that no one will be raised again.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does spring after winter remind us of new life?"
Play the short Al-An'am clip of ayat 21–30 from Umair Asif.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they deny?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does believing in the next life matter?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 29. Believing in the Akhirah gives meaning to everything we do. The Qur'an often points to rain bringing dead land to life as a sign of resurrection.
Fact: In Fussilat 41:39, reviving dry earth is compared to raising the dead.
Ages 5–8: Seed life. Plant a seed and watch it grow.
Ages 9–12: Next life. Write how believing in the Akhirah changes daily choices.
Finish with: "Dead earth coming alive is a sign of ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed for my Akhirah."
Action: Do one good deed for your Akhirah.
