Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Do habits change easily?"

For a few quiet minutes, listen to a reciter reciting Al-An'am, shared by Tartil Al-Quran 2.0.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What would they do if sent back?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would they repeat the same mistakes?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 28. Allah knows people's hearts. The ayah shows that a wish made only out of fear may not be real change. True change starts inside, now.

Fact: Ar-Ra'd 13:11 says Allah does not change a people until they change themselves.

Ages 5–8: Habit swap. Choose one bad habit to swap for a good one.

Ages 9–12: Real change. Write how to make a change that lasts.

Finish with: "Real change starts ___."

Talk together:

• What will become clear?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why do habits stick?
• What will you change?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will work on one habit every day."

• Start now.
• Next time: the next ayah (6:29) tells what they said about this life. Explore it together!
