أَن تَقُولُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَآئِفَتَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمْ لَغَٰفِلِينَ
'An taqūlū 'innamā 'unzila l-kitābu ʻalā ṭā'ifatay'ni min qab'linā wa'in kunnā ʻan dirāssatihim' laghāfilīna
Lest ye should say: "The Book was sent down to two Peoples before us, and for our part, we remained unacquainted with all that they learned by assiduous study:"

4-I guide
The Qur'an came so no one could say that the Book was only sent to two groups before them and they did not know what those groups studied.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What if someone says 'I never had a chance to learn'?"
Here is the reciter on NgajiBareng04 of ayat 155–165. Take turns pausing it and saying one thing you noticed.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What excuse is removed?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who were the two groups before?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 156. The two groups are the Jews and Christians, who received the Tawrah and Injil. The Arabs could not claim they lacked a Book, since the Qur'an came to them in their own language.
Fact: Yusuf 12:2 says the Qur'an is in clear Arabic so people can understand.
Ages 5–8: My book. Talk about how the Qur'an is for you.
Ages 9–12: No excuse. Write why the Qur'an removes the 'I didn't know' excuse.
Finish with: "The Qur'an came in clear ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the meaning of one ayah in my language."
Action: Learn the meaning of one ayah in your language.
