Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 141–150 of Al-An'am, a short clip shared by Holy Qur'an-القرآن الكريم.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which animals are named?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why ask for knowledge?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 143. The idol-worshippers forbade animals randomly. The Qur'an challenged them to show proof. Islam teaches us to base religious claims on knowledge.

Fact: Find Al-An'am 6:144, the next ayah, which completes the eight pairs.

Ages 5–8: Animal pairs. Find pictures of sheep and goats, male and female.

Ages 9–12: Proof please. Write why we ask for evidence in religion.

Finish with: "Religious claims need ___."

Talk together:
