إِنَّ ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَٰتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا يُضَٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ
'Inna l-muṣṣaddiqīna wal-muṣṣaddiqāti wa'aq'raḍū -llaha qar'ḍan ḥassanan yuḍāʻafu lahum' walahum' 'aj'run karīmun
For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward.

Men and women who give in charity and lend Allah a beautiful loan will have it multiplied and receive a generous reward.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's one kind thing you can do today?"
Watch the Sesame Street video Kindness.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will receive a generous reward?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the ayah mention both men and women?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 18. The key words al-mussaddiqina wal-mussaddiqat mean men and women who give charity. Every giver, man or woman, young or old, is rewarded. Kindness is a kind of charity too: a smile, help or a kind word.
Fact: What are some ways to give without money?
Ages 5–8: Kindness jar. Add a paper heart to a jar for every kind act this week.
Ages 9–12: No-money giving. List ten ways to give that don't cost anything.
Finish with: "I found that we can give without money by ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one act of kindness every day."
Action: Do one act of kindness every day.
