ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
Iʻ'lamū 'anna -llaha yuḥ'yi l-'ar'ḍa baʻ'da maw'tihā . qad' bayyannā lakumu l-'āyāti laʻallakum' taʻ'qilūna
Know ye (all) that Allah giveth life to the earth after its death! already have We shown the Signs plainly to you, that ye may learn wisdom.

Know that Allah brings the earth back to life after it was dead; We have made the signs clear so you may understand.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens under the ground when grass starts to grow?"
Watch the Boxlapse video Grass Roots Growing Underground Time Lapse. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah bring back to life?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah can revive the earth, can He soften a hard heart?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 17. The key words yuhyil-ard tell us Allah revives the earth when it seems dead. Right after the ayah about hard hearts, Allah reminds us He revives dry land. There's always hope: hearts can come alive again too.
Fact: How fast can grass roots grow?
Ages 5–8: Grass head. Plant grass seed in a cup and watch it sprout.
Ages 9–12: Revival signs. Find two places where dry land turned green after rain.
Finish with: "I found that grass roots grow about ___ a day."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give someone a fresh start."
Action: Give someone a fresh start.
