...then their welcome is boiling water.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does water shoot out of the ground in a geyser?"
Watch the Learn Bright video Geysers and Hot Springs for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What welcome awaits the deniers?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah warn us more than once?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 93. The key words nuzulun min hamim mean a welcome of boiling water. Deep underground, rocks heat water until it bursts out as a geyser, too hot to touch. The surah repeats this warning near its end so we remember it, and so we choose the path of the people of the right.
Fact: How hot can the water in a geyser get?
Ages 5–8: Geyser drawing. Draw a geyser with hot rocks underground and water shooting up.
Ages 9–12: Geyser science. Explain in your own words why a geyser erupts again and again.
Finish with: "I found that geyser water can be ___ degrees."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remind a friend kindly when they forget something good."
Action: Remind a friend kindly when they forget something good.
