فَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ
Fa'aṣ'ḥābu l-may'manati mā 'aṣ'ḥābu l-may'manati
Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand?

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do you think most people are right-handed?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which group does this ayah mention?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What did the people of the right do in their lives?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 8. The key words ashab al-maymanah mean the people of the right, the blessed side. The ayah asks a question to make us wonder how wonderful their reward is. Many Muslims learn the habit of beginning good things with the right hand, such as eating and giving.
Fact: About how many people in the world are right-handed?
Ages 5–8: Right-hand habits. Practise eating, drinking and giving things with your right hand for a day.
Ages 9–12: Family survey. Find out who in your family is right-handed or left-handed and make a chart.
Finish with: "I found that about ___ out of 10 people are right-handed."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start good things with bismillah and my right hand."
Action: Start good things with bismillah and your right hand.
