4-I guide
The ground will shake hard on that Day.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever felt the ground tremble under your feet?"
Watch the Peekaboo Kidz video What Is An Earthquake?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will happen to the earth?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who keeps the ground steady under our feet every day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 4. The key word rujjat means it was shaken violently. Small earthquakes remind us how strong the earth's movements can be. Most days, the ground stays still because Allah keeps it steady for us. On the Last Day, it will shake as never before.
Fact: How many earthquakes are recorded around the world each year?
Ages 5–8: Wobble tower. Build a block tower on a tray, then gently shake the tray. What helps it stay up?
Ages 9–12: Stay safe. Learn the three steps "drop, cover, hold on" and practise them with your family.
Finish with: "I found that about ___ earthquakes are recorded each year."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for our safe home each night."
Action: Thank Allah for our safe home each night.
