4-I guide
Those who raced ahead in goodness will be ahead in the Hereafter too.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes a cheetah the fastest runner on land?"
Watch the Smithsonian Channel video This Is Why You Can't Outrun a Cheetah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who are the foremost?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be quick to do good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 10. The key word as-sabiqun means those who are ahead, who rush first. A cheetah sprints to win its race. The foremost are people who rush to do good: first to help, first to pray, first to forgive.
Fact: How fast can a cheetah run?
Ages 5–8: First to help. Play a game: when someone needs help, who can offer first?
Ages 9–12: Goodness race. Keep a chart for a week of each time you were first to do something good.
Finish with: "I found that a cheetah can run ___ kilometres an hour."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be first to help when I hear someone ask."
Action: Be first to help when you hear someone ask.
