4-I guide
So which of your Lord's favours do you both deny?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can a house made of snow keep people warm?"
Watch the Be Smart video How An Igloo Keeps You Warm. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What comfort do we have at home right now?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What would I do without a warm bed tonight?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 55. The key word tukadhdhiban means you two deny. After hearing of the comforts of Jannah, think of the comforts we already have: a roof, a bed, blankets and warmth. Even an igloo shows how Allah gave people the skill to build shelter anywhere.
Fact: Why does snow keep an igloo warm inside?
Ages 5–8: Cosy count. Count every blanket, pillow and warm thing in your home.
Ages 9–12: Keep it warm. Wrap one cup of warm water in a cloth and leave one bare. Measure which stays warm longer.
Finish with: "I found that snow keeps heat in because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give a blanket or warm clothes to people in need."
Action: Give a blanket or warm clothes to people in need.
