Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you two deny?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What are clouds made of?"
Watch the Universal Jr. video What Are Clouds Made Of?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "After the heat of the Fire, what cool blessing do we have?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do clouds carry water across the sky?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 45. The key word tukadhdhiban means you both deny. Clouds shade us from the sun, carry water across the sky and drop rain where Allah wills. A cool cloud on a hot day is a gift we rarely thank Allah for.
Fact: How much water can one big cloud hold?
Ages 5–8: Cloud shapes. Lie outside and spot shapes in the clouds.
Ages 9–12: Cloud types. Learn the names of three kinds of clouds and what weather each brings.
Finish with: "I found that one cloud can hold about ___ of water."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say a du'a when it rains."
Action: Say a du'a when it rains.
