4-I guide
Which favour of your Lord, then, can you two deny?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do your ears help you keep your balance?"
Watch the Peekaboo Kidz video How Your Ear Works?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "The last ayah mentioned feet. What blessing do our feet give us?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I stay standing without falling over?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 42. The key word rabbikuma means the Lord of you both. Walking, running and standing in salah all need balance. Tiny tubes of liquid in your inner ear tell your brain which way is up. We use our feet every day to walk to good places.
Fact: How does the inner ear help us balance?
Ages 5–8: Balance game. Stand on one foot with eyes open, then closed. Which is harder?
Ages 9–12: Steps count. Count your steps in a day and list the good places your feet took you.
Finish with: "I found that the inner ear helps balance by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will walk to help someone or to the masjid."
Action: Walk to help someone or to the masjid.
