4-I guide
He is the One who taught the Quran.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does your brain remember things?"
Watch the FuseSchool video Memory.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the first gift the Most Merciful mentions?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is teaching the Quran a sign of mercy?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 2. The key word 'allama means He taught. Before creating people is even mentioned, the surah names the Quran. Our brains can store huge amounts of what we learn, and Allah made it possible for millions of people to carry the whole Quran in their memory.
Fact: What helps us remember something for a long time?
Ages 5–8: Echo and recall. Say a short ayah three times after an adult, then try it alone with your eyes shut.
Ages 9–12: Memory tricks. Try three ways to memorise a short surah and see which works best for you.
Finish with: "I found that we remember better when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn a few new words of the Quran each day."
Action: Learn a few new words of the Quran each day.
