Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What blessing came just before this question?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What would life be like with no seasons?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 18. The key word tukadhdhiban means you both deny. The two easts and two wests bring the seasons: warm summers for growing, cool winters for rest. Each season brings its own fruit, weather and joy.
Fact: Why is it summer in one half of the world while it is winter in the other?
Ages 5–8: Season wheel. Draw a circle with four parts and draw something you love in each season.
Ages 9–12: Tilt test. Shine a torch on a ball tilted one way, then the other, and see which part gets more light.
Finish with: "I found that seasons happen because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for today's weather instead of complaining."
Action: Thank Allah for today's weather instead of complaining.
