Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay safe from the Fire of the Hereafter?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 48. The key word saqar is one of the names of the Fire. We learn fire safety rules so we know what to do in danger. This ayah is mentioned once, as a warning. The way to stay safe from the Fire of the Hereafter is to believe, do good and turn back to Allah.

Fact: Why does "stop, drop and roll" put out flames?

Ages 5–8: Fire safety. Practise "stop, drop and roll" with your family.

Ages 9–12: Safety plan. Write the good deeds that keep us safe in the Hereafter, like a safety plan.

Finish with: "I found that stop, drop and roll works because ___."

Talk together:

• Why do we learn safety rules before there is danger?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What gives you hope in Allah's mercy?
• Which good deeds can protect us?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah every night to protect me from the Fire."
