بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ
Bali ssāʻatu maw'ʻiduhum' wa ssāʻatu 'ad'hā wa'amarru
Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter.

No, the Hour is their real appointment, and the Hour is harder and more bitter.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do some things taste bitter?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the deniers' real appointment?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is the Hour described as bitter?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 46. The key word amarr means more bitter. Our tongues can taste bitterness, which often warns us that something is not good for us. The Hour will be bitter for those who denied it. For believers who prepared, it is a promise to look forward to.
Fact: Why can our tongues taste bitterness?
Ages 5–8: Taste words. Taste a lemon slice and a sweet fruit and describe each one.
Ages 9–12: Bitter warning. Find out how bitterness helps animals and people avoid poison.
