The people of Lut also rejected the warnings.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it hard to stand up for what is right when everyone else disagrees?"
Watch the Blooming Minds video Stand Up for What's Right.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which people are mentioned now?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Prophet Lut stay strong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 33. The key word kadhdhabat means they denied. Prophet Lut, peace be upon him, lived among people who did very wrong things and refused to stop. He kept warning them, even though almost no one listened. He stood up for what was right when it was very hard.
Fact: What does it mean to be an "upstander"?
Ages 5–8: Brave words. Practise saying "That's not right" in a calm, brave voice.
Ages 9–12: Courage list. Write three times when someone your age might need courage to do the right thing.
Finish with: "I found that an upstander is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will speak up kindly when something is wrong."
Action: Speak up kindly when something is wrong.
