4-I guide
It sailed under Our watchful care, a reward for the one who had been rejected.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why don't big ships tip over in rough seas?"
Watch the Casual Navigation video Why Don't Cruise Ships Tip Over?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did the vessel sail?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean to be under Allah's watch?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 14. The key words bi-a'yunina mean under Our eyes, in Our care. Engineers design ships to stay balanced in waves. Nuh's vessel was kept safe by something greater: Allah's care. It was a reward for the patient messenger whom people had rejected.
Fact: What keeps a ship balanced in the water?
Ages 5–8: Wobbly boat. Put a toy boat in water, add weight high up, then low down. Which way is it steadier?
Ages 9–12: Care list. Write five ways Allah takes care of you that you rarely notice.
Finish with: "I found that ships stay balanced because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'Allah is with me' when I feel scared."
Action: Say 'Allah is with you' when you feel scared.
