4-I guide
So We opened the gates of the sky with water pouring down.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where does the heaviest rain on Earth fall?"
Watch the Met Office video What is a monsoon?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah open?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How much rain can fall in one day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 11. The key word munhamir means pouring heavily. In a monsoon, rain can pour for days, filling rivers and fields. Allah answered Nuh's du'a by opening the sky with rain. Rain is usually a mercy, but here it carried His command.
Fact: What is the most rain ever recorded in one day?
Ages 5–8: Rain jar. Leave a jar outside on a rainy day and measure the water.
Ages 9–12: Monsoon map. Find three countries that have monsoons and when they happen.
Finish with: "I found that the most rain in a day was ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for rain to be a blessing, not harm."
Action: Make du'a for rain to be a blessing, not harm.
