4-I guide
One great in strength taught him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why are good teachers so important?"
Watch the WonderKids Academy video Why Are Teachers So Important?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who taught the Prophet?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who was the Prophet's teacher?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Najm is surah 53. Find ayah 5. The key words shadidul-quwa mean great in strength. Scholars explain that this is the angel Jibril, who brought the revelation from Allah. Good teachers pass on knowledge carefully. Jibril passed on Allah's words perfectly, and the Prophet taught them to his companions.
Fact: How many years did it take for the whole Quran to be revealed?
Ages 5–8: Thank-you note. Make a thank-you note for a teacher who helped you.
Ages 9–12: Chain of teachers. Draw the chain: Allah, Jibril, the Prophet, the companions, teachers, you.
Finish with: "I found that the Quran was revealed over ___ years."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank a teacher who helped me learn the Quran."
Action: Thank a teacher who helped you learn the Quran.
