4-I guide
Say: Keep waiting, and I will wait with you.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the hardest thing you have ever had to wait for?"
Watch the Teach Social Skills video Learning to Wait.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the Prophet say back to those who are waiting?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can someone stay calm when others hope bad things for them?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tur is surah 52. Find ayah 31. The key word tarabbasu means wait and watch. The Prophet did not get angry. He calmly said, "Wait, and I am waiting too", trusting that Allah would show who was right. Calm waiting is a strength.
Fact: What are two things that make waiting easier?
Ages 5–8: Waiting game. Set a timer for one minute and sit calmly until it rings.
Ages 9–12: Waiting toolkit. Write five things you can do while waiting, like dhikr or reading.
Finish with: "I found that waiting is easier when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say subhanallah quietly whenever I have to wait."
Action: Say subhanallah quietly whenever you have to wait.
