Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will the wrongdoers receive?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why don't people always learn from the past?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Adh-Dhariyat is surah 51. Find ayah 59. The key word dhanuban means a share, like a bucketful. Those who refuse Allah's message will get the same result as the peoples in this surah. The wise learn from others' mistakes, so they don't have to make them.

Fact: What is one mistake you learned from by watching someone else?

Ages 5–8: Wise owl. Tell a story about someone who learned from a friend's mistake.

Ages 9–12: Pattern spot. Write what each people in this surah refused, and the pattern you notice.

Finish with: "I found that I learned from watching ___."

Talk together:
