I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.

I created jinn and people only so that they would worship Me.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you think is the reason we are here?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the purpose of our creation?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Can playing and studying also be worship?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Adh-Dhariyat is surah 51. Find ayah 56. The key word li-ya'budun means so that they worship Me. Worship ('ibadah) is not only salah. Being kind, telling the truth, helping at home and learning well can all become worship when done for Allah. Jinn are another creation we cannot see, and they were created for the same purpose.
Fact: What are five everyday actions that can become worship with the right intention?
Ages 5–8: Worship jar. Write everyday good deeds on slips and add one each time you do it for Allah.
Ages 9–12: Intention check. Before three tasks today, say your intention, then write how it changed the task.
Finish with: "I found that everyday worship can be ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make an intention for Allah before homework every day."
Action: Make an intention for Allah before homework every day.
