Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I think for myself instead of copying?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Adh-Dhariyat is surah 51. Find ayah 53. The key word atawasaw means did they recommend it to each other. It is as if people in every age had passed the same insults down like an inheritance. The real reason, Allah says, is that they went beyond limits. Thinking for ourselves helps us choose good.

Ages 5–8: Copy cat game. Play a copying game, then talk about when copying is good and when it isn't.

Ages 9–12: Good inheritance. Write three good habits you would like to pass down to your own children one day.

Talk together:

• What do people "pass down" that is good, and what is bad?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How can we stop a bad habit from spreading?
• What good habit would you like to pass on?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will teach a younger child one good habit."
