4-I guide
What you are promised is certainly true.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes you trust someone's promise?"
Watch the Lessons for SEL video What is Trust?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the oaths in ayat 1–4 lead up to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can we always trust Allah's promises?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Adh-Dhariyat is surah 51. Find ayah 5. The key word la-sadiq means surely true. The winds, clouds, ships and sharers all work exactly as Allah commands. In the same way, His promise about the Day of Judgement and the reward for good deeds is true.
Fact: What are three ways people build trust with each other?
Ages 5–8: Trust walk. With a grown-up guiding you, walk a short safe path with your eyes closed.
Ages 9–12: Promise log. Write down every promise you make this week and tick it when kept.
Finish with: "I found that trust is built by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep every promise I make, even the small ones."
Action: Keep every promise you make, even the small ones.
