4-I guide
Ruin is for those who just guess.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the difference between a guess and an estimate?"
Watch the LearnAndPlayCrew video Guess How Many? Estimation Station for Kids!
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were these people doing instead of learning?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "When is guessing fine, and when is it harmful?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Adh-Dhariyat is surah 51. Find ayah 10. The key word al-kharrasun means those who guess wildly. In maths, a good estimate uses clues. But guessing about Allah and the unseen without knowledge leads people astray. For big questions, we learn from revelation, not guesses.
Fact: What is the difference between a guess and an estimate?
Ages 5–8: Jar guess. Guess how many beans are in a jar, then count them.
Ages 9–12: Estimate smart. Estimate the number of words on a page, then count one line and multiply.
Finish with: "I found that an estimate is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'I'm not sure, let me find out' instead of guessing."
Action: Say 'you're not sure, let you find out' instead of guessing.
