وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍۢ
Wa l-'ar'ḍa madad'nāhā wa'al'qay'nā fīhā rawāssiya wa'an[m]bat'nā fīhā min kulli zaw'jin bahījin
And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)-

We spread out the earth, set firm mountains on it, and grew every kind of lovely plant in pairs.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do flowers make seeds?"
Watch the Peekaboo Kidz video What Is Pollination?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things did Allah place on the earth?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are plants made in pairs?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Qaf is surah 50. Find ayah 7. The key words zawjin bahij mean a beautiful pair or kind. Many plants have male and female parts, and bees and wind carry pollen between them so seeds can form. Allah made the earth wide, the mountains firm and the plants beautiful. It is a sign to ponder.
Fact: Which insects carry pollen from flower to flower?
Ages 5–8: Flower look. Look inside a flower and find the yellow pollen.
Ages 9–12: Pollinator chart. List five pollinators and the plants they visit.
Finish with: "I found that pollen is carried by ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will plant a seed or care for a flower."
Action: Plant a seed or care for a flower.
