وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍۢ
Wa laqad' khalaq'nā ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍa wamā bay'nahumā fī sittati 'ayyāmin wamā massanā min llughūbin
We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us.

We created the heavens, the earth and everything between them in six days, and no tiredness touched Us.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to our bodies when we don't sleep?"
Watch the Peekaboo Kidz video What If You Stopped SLEEPING?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did not touch Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do we get tired, but Allah never does?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Qaf is surah 50. Find ayah 38. The key word lughub means tiredness. We need sleep, food and rest to keep going. Allah created the whole universe and never became tired at all. He never sleeps and never needs a break. Our tiredness reminds us how different He is from us.
Fact: How many hours of sleep does a child need each night?
Ages 5–8: Energy chart. Draw how you feel in the morning, at lunchtime and at bedtime.
Ages 9–12: Rest plan. Make a plan for good sleep: bedtime, routine and screen-free time.
Finish with: "I found that children need about ___ hours of sleep."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will go to bed on time and wake up ready for fajr."
Action: Go to bed on time and wake up ready for fajr.
