مَّا ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلَّا رَسُولٌۭ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ ٱلرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُۥ صِدِّيقَةٌۭ ۖ كَانَا يَأْكُلَانِ ٱلطَّعَامَ ۗ ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرْ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
How to read it
Mmā l-massīḥu (i)b'nu mar'yama 'illā rassūlun qad' khalat' min qab'lihi rrussulu wa'ummuhu ṣiddīqatun . kānā ya''kulāni ṭṭaʻāma . (u)nẓur' kay'fa nubayyinu lahumu l-'āyāti thumma (u)nẓur' 'annā yu''fakūna
Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!
