Ask: "How would you feel if your team refused to help?"

Play the short Al-Ma'idah clip of ayat 20–26 from MercifulIslam.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the people say?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why were their words so rude?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 24. Their words were disrespectful to Musa and to Allah. Later, at Badr, a Companion said to the Prophet: we will not say as Musa's people said; we will be with you.

Fact: Who said 'we will not say as Musa's people said' before Badr? Al-Miqdad ibn 'Amr.

Ages 5–8: Team helper. Help a family member with their job today.

Ages 9–12: Loyalty. Write how the Companions were different from Musa's people.

Finish with: "Before Badr, Al-___ promised to stand with the Prophet."

Talk together:

• What did they say?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why was it wrong?
• How can you be a loyal helper?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will help instead of watching."
