Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How can one or two brave voices change a group?"

Hear the opening minutes of Al-Ma'idah in a reciter's voice, from Tilawah Qur'an Channel.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the two men advise?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why were these two different?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 23. Scholars say the two men were Yusha' and Kalib. When everyone was afraid, they spoke up with faith and good advice.

Fact: Who later led Bani Isra'il into the land, according to scholars? Yusha' ibn Nun.

Ages 5–8: Brave voice. Practise saying 'We can do it, bismillah!'

Ages 9–12: Speaking up. Write about someone who spoke up for good.

Finish with: "The two brave men said: rely on ___."

Talk together:

• What did they say?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why were they brave?
• When will you speak up?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will encourage someone who is scared."

• Be the brave voice.
• Rely on Allah.
• Encourage others.
