لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۢ
Lillahi mul'ku ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi wamā fīhinna . wahuwa ʻalā kulli shay''in qadīrun[m]
To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things.

Allah is King of the heavens, the earth and everything in them, and nothing is beyond His power.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the biggest thing you can imagine? Who owns it?"
A short clip on TheMuslimHD recites ayat 110–120 of Al-Ma'idah. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What belongs to Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the surah end this way?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 120. After many rules, stories and the Day of Judgment, the surah ends by reminding us that everything belongs to Allah and He can do all things. This gives believers confidence and calm.
Fact: How many ayat are in Surah Al-Ma'idah? 120.
Ages 5–8: All His. Look at the sky and say 'This belongs to Allah'.
Ages 9–12: Surah summary. Write three lessons from Al-Ma'idah.
Finish with: "Al-Ma'idah has ___ ayat."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share one lesson from Al-Ma'idah with my family."
Action: Share one lesson from Al-Ma'idah with your family.
