وَإِذْ أَوْحَيْتُ إِلَى ٱلْحَوَارِيِّۦنَ أَنْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِى وَبِرَسُولِى قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَٱشْهَدْ بِأَنَّنَا مُسْلِمُونَ
Wa 'idh' 'aw'ḥay'tu 'ilāl-ḥawāriyyīna 'an' 'āminū bī wabirassūlī qālū 'āmannā wa-sh'had' bi'annanā mus'limūna
"And behold! I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Messenger: they said, 'We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as Muslims'".

Allah inspired the disciples to believe in Him and His messenger, and they said: we believe, so bear witness that we submit to Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes a good helper of a prophet?"
USRAH ILMU STUDIO posted a short recitation of ayat 109–113 of Al-Ma'idah. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the disciples say?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did they call themselves 'muslimun'?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 111. The disciples of 'Isa, the Hawariyyun, believed and submitted to Allah. 'Muslim' means one who submits to Allah, which all true followers of prophets did.
Fact: Hawariyyun means the disciples, helpers of 'Isa.
Ages 5–8: Helpers. Talk about how you can be a helper of good.
Ages 9–12: Submission. Write what 'muslim' means.
Finish with: "The disciples were called the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be a helper for a good cause."
Action: Be a helper for a good cause.
