قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمٌۭ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُوا۟ بِهَا كَٰفِرِينَ
Qad' sa'alahā qaw'mun mmin qab'likum' thumma 'aṣ'baḥū bihā kāfirīna
Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.

A people before you asked such questions, and then rejected the answers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the point of asking if you won't follow the answer?"
CINTA NGAJI TV posted a short recitation of ayat 101–105 of Al-Ma'idah. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happened to those who asked?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would people ask and then reject?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 102. Some earlier people asked for detailed rules or signs, then refused to follow them. Asking should lead to doing.
Fact: In Al-Baqarah 2:67–71, people asked many questions about a cow.
Ages 5–8: Ask and do. Ask how to help, then do it.
Ages 9–12: Learning to act. Write why knowledge should lead to action.
Finish with: "Knowledge should lead to ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will act on one thing I learn."
Action: Act on one thing you learn.
