Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I tell if news is true?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hujurat is surah 49. Find ayah 6. The key word fatabayyanu means check and make clear. Before believing or sharing news, believers check it. Spreading wrong news can hurt innocent people and leave us feeling sorry afterwards. Checking is a way of being fair.

Ages 5–8: Pass it on. Whisper a message along a line and see how it changes.

Ages 9–12: Check list. Make a three-step checklist for news: who said it, how they know, and is it kind.

• When have you heard something that turned out to be untrue?
• How can we check things kindly?
