إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
'Inna -llaha yaʻ'lamu ghay'ba ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi . wa-llahu baṣīrun[m] bimā taʻ'malūna
"Verily Allah knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth: and Allah Sees well all that ye do."

Every hidden thing in the skies and on earth is known to Allah, and He watches all that you do.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Does Allah see us even when no one else does?"
Watch the Quranic Revelation Centre video Allah Sees Me Everywhere.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things does this ayah say about Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does knowing Allah sees me help me do good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hujurat is surah 49. Find ayah 18, the last ayah. The key word basir means All-Seeing. Nothing is hidden from Allah, in the skies or on earth, and He sees everything we do. The whole surah teaches manners; this last ayah reminds us that Allah sees whether we live by them.
Fact: How many manners did you collect from Surah Al-Hujurat?
Ages 5–8: Good when unseen. Tidy something up when no one is watching.
Ages 9–12: Manners poster. Turn your manners list from this surah into a poster for your home.
