Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who does a pledge to the Prophet really go to?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does breaking a promise harm the one who breaks it?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Fath is surah 48. Find ayah 10. The key word yubayi'unaka means they pledge to you. At Hudaybiyyah, the companions made a pledge to stand by the Prophet. Allah said a pledge to His Messenger is a pledge to Him. Keeping promises brings a great reward; breaking them hurts ourselves most.

Ages 5–8: Promise chain. Make a paper chain and add a link for each promise you keep.

Ages 9–12: Promise keeper. List three promises you make often and how to keep them better.
