Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to the deniers' deeds?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes a deed bear fruit?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Muhammad is surah 47. Find ayah 8. The key word ta'san means stumbling and ruin. Like a tree that grows leaves but no fruit, deeds done without faith may look busy but bring no lasting good. Faith is the root that lets our deeds bear fruit.

Fact: Which part of a flower turns into fruit?

Ages 5–8: Fruit tree. Draw a tree and add a fruit for every good deed you do this week.

Ages 9–12: Root and fruit. Write how faith (the root) helps good deeds (the fruit) grow.

Finish with: "I found that fruit grows from the ___."

Talk together:

• Why does faith matter for our deeds?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What makes a deed truly fruitful?
• What "fruit" would you like your life to have?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will add a fruit to my tree for every good deed."
