وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَعْلَمَ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمْ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَا۟ أَخْبَارَكُمْ
Wa lanab'luwannakum' ḥattā naʻ'lama l-mujāhidīna minkum' wa ṣṣābirīna wanab'lūā 'akh'bārakum'
And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle).

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you feel before a test at school?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will the tests make clear?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah test us when He already knows everything?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Muhammad is surah 47. Find ayah 31. The key word lanabluwannakum means We will surely test you. Life has tests: some hard, some easy. They show who keeps trying and who stays patient. Allah already knows, but tests help us grow and show our true selves.
Fact: What is one way to calm nerves before a test?
Ages 5–8: Calm shapes. Trace a square with your finger, breathing in and out on each side.
Ages 9–12: Test of life. Write about one hard thing you faced and what it taught you.
Finish with: "I found that one way to calm nerves is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say bismillah and breathe calmly before something hard."
Action: Say bismillah and breathe calmly before something hard.
