وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ هِىَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةًۭ مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ
Wa ka'ayyin mmin qar'yatin hiya 'ashaddu quwatan mmin qar'yatika -llatī 'akh'rajat'ka 'ah'lak'nāhum' falā nāṣira lahum'
And how many cities, with more power than thy city which has driven thee out, have We destroyed (for their sins)? and there was none to aid them.

How many towns, stronger than the town that drove you out, did We destroy, and no one could help them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Do you know of any ancient cities that disappeared?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which town drove the Prophet out?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't strong cities last?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Muhammad is surah 47. Find ayah 13. The key word akhrajatka means drove you out. The people of Makkah forced the Prophet to leave his home. Allah comforted him: many stronger towns had disappeared before. Power does not last; only truth does. Later, the Prophet returned to Makkah peacefully.
Fact: In which year did the Prophet make the hijrah to Madinah?
Ages 5–8: Then and now. Draw a city long ago and the same place today.
Ages 9–12: Hijrah map. Draw the route from Makkah to Madinah and mark the distance.
Finish with: "I found that the hijrah happened in ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will comfort someone who is going through a hard time."
Action: Comfort someone who is going through a hard time.
