ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوْلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَأَنَّ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ لَا مَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ
Dhālika bi'anna -llaha maw'lā-lladhīna 'āmanū wa'anna l-kāfirīna lā maw'lā lahum'
That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector.

Allah looks after and defends the believers, while those who reject Him have nobody to defend them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who are the people who help keep us safe?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is the believers' protector?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah protect me?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Muhammad is surah 47. Find ayah 11. The key word mawla means protector, guardian and friend. Firefighters, doctors and parents protect us, but Allah is the greatest Protector of all. Those who reject Him have no one who can truly protect them.
Fact: What does the name of Allah al-Mawla mean?
Ages 5–8: Helpers picture. Draw people who help you, with Allah's name al-Mawla above them.
Ages 9–12: Protection list. List ways Allah protects you every day.
Finish with: "I found that al-Mawla means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank one person who helps keep me safe."
